“The biggest communication problem is we do not listen to understand.
We listen to reply.”
― Stephen R. Covey

Die Trying – Michl

See, in a world where everyone wants to sell something,

where everyone has their own flavor of fucked-up, holy opinions,

where everyone’s so busy carrying their luggage filled with uncooked, stale, good-for-nothing, glittery philosophies — more than ever the art of Listening, is important.

Wise duly understood, it doesn’t has downsides.

Reality check — It’s been a while, I’ve been trying to cultivate this skill.

And, I’m learning things!

Namaste.

Dreams need work! ~ Author

Minelli – Rampampam

I stepped in US soil on October 3, 2021 at JFK International Airport, Queens, NY.

Excited. Afraid.

Tearful. Grateful.

In the end,

I hope I change but whatever good there is in me …. remains!

I hope I live up-to my dreams!

Namaste.

Only few relationships graduate! ~ author.

Ranjha – B Praak | Jasleen Royal | Romy | Anvita Dutt

I write because of her.

I write because she knows how much I love it and would never let me quit.

I write because she waits.

I write because she inspires me.

Delhi’s August

Reading Time: < 1 minute
Manike Mage Hithe – Yohani & Satheeshan

It’s been a while I haven’t written anything of substance.

And, I am perfectly aware of that.

It’s been a while I’m healing from all the fuss I’ve been through.

From, adapting to Delhi’s august.

From, merely getting by … many, … so many sleepless nights.

From, accommodating in the unfamiliar territory of Mumbai.

From, getting through US visa refusal.

From, finding a new purpose.

It’s been a while!

Namaste.

Just trying to get some quality sleep.

It’s been a tiring circus.

It’s peaceful now.

Exhaustion

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Exhaustion is cool. ~ Author

Tom Adams – Static

What’s real exhaustion?

For me, it’s when you start talking to yourself asking why be so brutal on yourself?

Yet, one part of me still says,

we are meant to get exhausted,

we are meant to grind as much as we can!

I am exhausted,

luckily,

warmly,

gracefully!

‘Focus’ is the new oil. ~ Author

Amaranthine – Joel Porter

Focus on your goal.

Focus on how you are spending your days.

Focus on how delicate and fragile your life is.

Focus on how blessed you are to be just ‘okay’ and breathing.

Please focus on your Focus!

Work

Reading Time: < 1 minute

“At dawn, when you have trouble getting out of bed, tell yourself: “I have to go to work — as a human being. What do I have to complain of, if I’m going to do what I was born for — the things I was brought into the world to do? Or is this what I was created for? To huddle under the blankets and stay warm?”

~ Marcus Aurelius

Ananya Bhat – Sojugada Sooju Mallige

I clearly remember teaching grade 9 students, a physics lesson on Work. The postulated formula:

Work = Force X Distance

vs

Work = Force X Displacement

I wish I was more creative and thoughtful to understand — that we were not actually solving 10’s and 100’s of science numerical for mere 2 marks, but rather dealing with life’s one of the most profound lessons.

I’m sure you know what I want to put on the table.

A piece of unsolicited advice — Work! And persevere!

Namaste.
